¹⁴Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Matthew 18:14World English Bible, Protestant Edition

The scene

The teaching says that the Father in heaven does not want one of these little ones to perish.

A man with a hundred sheep seeks the one that has strayed. If he finds it, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that did not stray.

How does the man react if he finds the sheep that strayed?
