¹⁵She went and did according to the saying of Elijah; and she, he, and her household ate many days.

1 Kings 17:15World English Bible, Protestant Edition

The scene

The woman does as Elijah says, and she, Elijah and her household eat for many days.

To understand

Elijah’s preceding words name flour and oil lasting until rain comes. The next line reports that neither supply runs out, linking the continued meals to the word spoken through Elijah.

A question

Which supplies does the account name to explain how the household continues eating?
